Goodnight Moon (2024)
“The sunset is the world’s way of saying: 'rest now.' In this orange glow, everything sharp becomes soft, and every noise turns into a whisper.”
* The Incandescent Farewell: This 80 x 120 cm canvas is a masterclass in warmth. It captures the final, most intense stage of a sunset—the "golden hour"—where the atmosphere is saturated with deep oranges, burnt sienna, and honey-like light. By applying the Blinkered method, I have distilled the setting sun into a horizontal pulse of heat, creating a visual field that radiates comfort and quiet optimism.
* The Musical Cipher: The title Goodnight Moon acts as a gentle, auditory anchor. It is a direct reference to a track or a melodic fragment from my "sonic diary" that dictated the soft, circular flow of the painting process. I invite the collector to seek the song that matches this amber vibration; only then is the full synergy of the work’s emotional warmth unlocked.
* Liquid Gold: Executed on premium linen, the painting’s surface is built from dozens of thin, luminous glazes. Using unconventional DIY tools like sponges and rags, I’ve created a texture that mimics the shimmer of fading light. The result is a "kaleidoscopic" glow that shifts and deepens as the light in the room changes, making it an ideal centerpiece for a space dedicated to relaxation and reflection.
