Maybe Tomorrow (2025)
“In the Bieszczady woods, the silence has a weight you can almost lean against. This painting is a promise to return to that stillness—if not today, then maybe tomorrow.”
The Sylvan Sanctuary: This vertical, two-meter-high 3D linen canvas is a sensory immersion into the deep, ancient forests of the Bieszczady Mountains. It is a study of green—not just as a color, but as a space for breath and recovery. By isolating the rhythmic, vertical flow of the forest and stretching it across the canvas, I have distilled the "kaleidoscopic magic" of sunlight filtering through dense leaves into a permanent state of calm.
The Musical Cipher: The title Maybe Tomorrow acts as a bridge to a specific auditory memory. It hides a reference to a track or a lyric that guided the brush during the dozens of hours spent layering this work. I invite the collector to find the sonic match for these mossy greens and misty teals; only when the rhythm of the music aligns with the texture of the linen is the true synergy of the Blinkered series unlocked.
A Pillar of Quiet: Created as a monumental anchor for a contemporary home, this work uses the psychological power of nature to stabilize a modern interior. The application of paint with DIY sponges and rags creates a rich, organic topography on the surface. For the neurodivergent viewer, this piece offers a "visual sanctuary"—a place where the eye can wander without the noise of the outside world.
