“There is a paradox in a frozen lake: it feels like an eternity of stillness, yet you know it is held together by the most fragile of breaths. It is an infinity that lasts only until the first thaw.”

* The White Silence: This 100 x 120 cm abstract landscape is a masterful study of high-key minimalism. It depicts a winter lake almost entirely consumed by a thick, heavy mist and a blanket of fresh snow. By applying the Blinkered method, I have reduced the scene to a series of ethereal, white-on-white textures, where the only structural element is a subtle, haunting band of icy turquoise and slate grey—the "heart" of the frozen water visible through the haze.

* The Musical Cipher: The title Such A Short Infinity is a philosophical coordinate in my "sonic diary." It references a track that pairs a crystalline, repetitive piano loop with a vast, ambient reverb—mimicking the feeling of standing in an open, frozen space where sound simply disappears. I invite the collector to find the auditory "coldness" within these pale glazes; only when the music’s sparse, delicate arrangement matches the scratched, skeletal textures of the canvas is the true, "suspended" frequency of this winter vision unlocked.

* Textural Immersion: Executed on a premium linen canvas, the work thrives on its subtle relief. Using unconventional DIY tools—from fine-toothed scrapers to dry, stiff sponges—I built a surface that mimics the crust of frozen snow and the density of a winter fog.
